House teardown = Silver finds!

Started at 6:00 am this morning driving the old areas of downtown, seen a house from the 1920's in final stages of teardown thought this looks promising. Went up to the foreman and asked if I could detect, said no problem said they would be finished up in a hour or so and just leave when the bucket operater leaves. So worked as fast as I could and did Allright. First find a trashed mercury, loads of wheaties, a token, play money, marbles, a rather large British coin I think?, a pendent and some other jewelry finds, and a need some help on this one never seen anything like it. Silver chain with both ends the same with jewel inserts at end (one missing) about a hour and half later was time to leave, walking out talking to the bucket operater got a perfect signal and dug this nice 1932 quarter. I think the operater was happier than me.lol. told me location of his next teardown next week. Guess where I'll be? HH

Made an extra find by getting with operator! Cool move, and sweet u yanked that quarter out of the ground in front of his eyes. Made him spill the info. I'd be getting his # and stay in contact!

Definitely gonna become chums with this guy, says he's tore down over 2000 homes in his career and hasn't found squat! Says his coworkers find paper money and coins in the walls all the time.i said your next teardown will be your first by finding a stash of gold coins, said just leave some leftovers. Lol.

I have a friend who goes into foreclosed homes for banks & cleans them out. The 2 best places to find coins/treasures is in the walls and under the dryers.
