House Passes Bill to Keep IRS From Implementing Obamacare
August 2, 2013
Rep. Michele Bachmann/ The Shark Tank
By JAVIER MANJARRES
Defunding and defeating Obamacare is the U.S. House of Representatives’ number one focus, as the body voted on and passed a bill that would prevent the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) from having an enforcement or implementation role in Obamacare.
Under Obamacare, the IRS is the government agency that has been given the responsibility of enforcing the healthcare law.
*“Targeting Tea Party and conservative organizations because of their personal political and religious beliefs is an appalling abuse of power, and the American people have rightly lost any trust in the IRS.
With the implementation of Obamacare at hand, the IRS is charged with playing a key role in enforcing the President’s healthcare law, which will only open the door to more government abuse and overreach.
“The IRS has demonstrated a willingness to use the machinery of government for political purposes and they should not be involved in the healthcare decisions of American families. Patients, families and doctors should be making personal healthcare decisions, not Washington bureaucrats from the IRS.”*-Rep. Michele Bachmann
Big win for Americans, bigger slap in the face to Obama.
