What exactly does this mean . I'm looking into the Cibola . Some what new to MD and not to impressed with VDi. Machines . Thinking of Cibola or Fisher F4 .

Well I got it today very excited . Looked great , felt great . But just my luck . It does not work property . Maybe two to four inches in ground at best . All coins the same . Hell my metal digging tool only eight inches . I have should bad luck . I tried all settings . Don't Think I'm doing something wrong . I even put the penny in the ground 4 inches at most and not a big hit . Darn

Not to gripe or complain, but you seem to have copy and pasted this on several posts. It's seems one would have been enough, and if I remember right Terry told you who to call and what to do, he was right and come to find out it was user error, if you woulda listened to Terry in the beginning (after all he's our veteran tesero goto guy) instead of making so many posts, you woulda saved yourself a lot time, and all of us a lot time have to read this over and over.

Just my two cents, sorry I in no way attended to offend you or anyone else just a bummer having to read the same thing over and over.

No problem , did you read my reply . A unquie situation that a call did not change . They did not know about the problem . So it would not have been fixed . It would have been sent back . Costing everybody time and money . It's not user error if the plug can fit two different ways and the manual or manufacture does not know or state . In fact I think a few other threads plus other reviews on other boards were giving this machine a bad name . I'm just passing along info to help others .

Yes I read several of your replies lol
I believe Terry told you to call your salesmen first, which in fact solved your problem.
I'm all for sharing and passing on the info etc, guess reading it over and ovet just got a little repetitious is all.

Hope that new machine and you get along super well. I think this is what number 3 for you? Hopefully third time is a charm!

Yes it is and so far this one is great . Compared to the other two . Lol It's dicrimnation is better, least you ate not disappointed when the vdi is wrong most of the time . I just don't want others to give the detector a bad name , doing what I did and think it was the detector . Because the vast majority of the reviews were good . The few I found sounded like what I did . I had called my salesman and he did not mention if the cable was correct . The machine still worked be with very little depth .
