These photos I came across while searching some files, now 25 yrs later I can still recall the morning we woke up in the dunes while trekking in Rajasthan. My wife's ride was a tad randy one could say. Camel in heat is a sight to be seen and heard. Mine was just a huge beast named Rama, riding on him was a high ride.

I've never road a camel. Is it fun?

Looks like your wife is a good multitasker!
Thanks
Ya I am lucky to have a great woman that puts up with me.

Do the splits, then bounce up and down for days on end. No matter how much one stretches out the inner leg, it's torcher after a few days in the desert. Been there done that type of thing. They really stink as well.

Nice post Jim, you never told me you were a world traveler! :laughing7:
I thought you'd only been to England looking for treasure, hope you brought your detector along to Rajasthan.

Just months before our 20 month adventure I had my car stolen in good old Toronto and my beloved Whites Golden Eagle detector was stolen along with lots of other things. Traveling through the countries that we did I was drooling at the possibilities of lost treasures over the 1000's of years of occupancy. Still to this day 25 yrs later I think of the sights and sounds and the smells (bad and good ) and some of the places that would be awesome to drop a coil to the untouched soils.
