Horseshoe Pilgrim -like silver ring??

I'd like to ID this small silver ring. Found near NYC shore lines, perhaps Irish or Scottish immigrant lost it?? It has "sterling" stamped on the inside and the horseshoe has inscription "Dale Evona" or "Evoma".

I've looked around, but can't find one like it, but am convinced that it is Dale Evans. I can find plenty of "lucky" watches, with her and her horse in a horseshoe, but not this. It seems to be less than common at the least.

I've looked around, but can't find one like it, but am convinced that it is Dale Evans. I can find plenty of "lucky" watches, with her and her horse in a horseshoe, but not this. It seems to be less than common at the least.

I'd bet that you are right, and it's Dale Evans. But the fact it's sterling I find surprising. I'm sure it's a kids Dale Evans club ring, and I recollect the kids club stuff from Roy or the Lone Ranger, any of the super hero's seemed to turn my finger green. The ones I'm talking about were purchased for two bits and a box top from sudso or what ever. Maybe they treated the girls better than they did the guys.

I'm with the esteemed benz. I grew up with Roy and Dale. Both the movies and the TV shows. At one time they had over 2,000 Fan Clubs worldwide. I can easily see a silver Dale Evans ring for a girl. Happy Trails.

As a kid, some of my best Saturday mornings were spent watching Roy Rogers & Dale Evans followed by Sky King. They were good folks in real life too; they adopted 9 children.

Your Sterling Dale Evans ring is really an outstanding find. On the website below, I saw where Roy Rogers rings were valued between $150-$300., and they were not Sterling. The Dale Evans cap guns & holsters are also more valuable than the Roy Rogers ones. I saw a Dale rig sell for over a $1000.00 on FleaBay several months ago.

I would suggest you take it to a jewelry and have it professionally cleaned or at least find out if cleaning/polishing it would bring back the silver shine.

When I lived in Orlando many years ago, I rode an elevator with Roy Rogers. Didn't get to shake his hand though, as his escort keep him pretty much isolated from strangers. I was also stationed in Germany and on the same post as one of their sons. Unfortunately he passed away while on the post. I'm with Breezie, that beauty you found could be worth some real dough. Would be nice if you could get it to Antiques Roadshow. Super find.
