I found these two identical items at an Indian Wars fort site and have never seen them before. The area where I found them was a stable/corral/pasture on the old map I have, but I have found uniform items and other personnel stuff in the area. If you look closely the rivets get progressively longer from top to bottom so whatever they were attached to was tapered. Any ideas?
