Horse Rosette ?

I found what i'm 99% sure is a horse rosette. I've dug quite a few
brass with lead filled back rosettes but i'm not sure what this is made of ?
My guess would be pewter? I'll let the experts here decide. 1 + 9/16" wide.

Is it a horse rosette ?
Lead, Pewter, or other metal ?
When were these popular - mid/late 19th century ? :dontknow:

Looks like a rosette to me.
I have these on my bridle, harness for driving, made of brass.
They are still popular, However this one could be a very old one.

YEP....Rosette or conchos. ALTHOUGH.......It could be a Rev.War hat pin. :laughing9: (semi-private joke with some other members).
