Hi, I found this today on the farm I live on and it is some kind of tag the size of a bic lighter from a local hunt club. What do you think the PHO 19K2V stands for?

The club was/is known for Fox Hunts.dale68 said:phone area code for charlottsville (see my other post). Probably was for a dog- rabbit dog (unlikely), bird dog (also unlikely), coon hound (most likely). Ocassionly a coon dog will run a deer and go beyound hearing, becomeing lost. When that happens throw your jacket or shirt on the ground (it has your scent on it) and come back the next day, usually the dog will backtrack himself and when he finds the shirt/jacket will stay with it for a day or so,and you can recover him. This really works, and certainly has worked for me (got a very valuable coon hound/squirrell dog back).
