horse bridle clip or what?

Posted this in the Todays Finds section with other things I had found but I figured I would post in here also for the lurkers of this section.

Not sure what it is but I'm thinking more of a bridle clip or something for a horse. Please take a look at the pics and let me know what you think.

I'm gonna say it's a ladies belt buckle....from what I've seen in previous posts. I'm sure some of the much more knowledgeable folks will tell ya for sure. Neat find no matter what it is I say.

Purse clip? Looks like it probably had a round stone mounted in it also....A red one.

Nope, sorry. Doesn't look like a rosette or any bridle piece I've seen.

Defo a piece missing where the prongs are. Probably some kind of rhinestone and yes, I'd go along with belt buckle too.
