Found this at the 600 acre park. I found the horse first. tail and legs were broken off. Found the rider about 60 feet apart. He was broken apart. Found left arm about 10 feet apart. Used a pencil inside to hold it together. Hammered out an old fishing weight to rebuild his back. It's 9 inches long 6 inches tall.

Nice job with the rebuild. That's a cool find. Do you know the history, when/why it was made?

Super glue works great. Don't have any info on it. No markings on it. Possibly had a base to it. The very bottom of three legs are missing.

That's really cool! Nice job!

Very nice find and reconstruction!
Is it all made of lead?

That is really a good save, congratulations on the rebuild.
Have you searched the area really good, to see if there's any more pieces?

Me and four friends search the area really well. It was a hot spot in the park. Over 100 silver coins. Around 300 Indian cent. 400 wheats. Almost all coins were between 1880-1930.

If it was just the 4 of you the pieces would of showed up.
I have a part of a Saxon brooch.
Another guy has a piece, then a few years ago Another hunter found yet another piece of it.
But there's still bits missing.
Some items become victims of the plow, or the lawn mowing equipment.

I was lucky that I found all the pieces. When I first started detecting my brother found half of a wheat cent I found the other half.

I found these 2 pieces about 20 ft apart in a park. They deserved a spot in the cabinet.
