..come to think of it, I have seen bird houses and feeders made out of horns before, similar to those made out of gourds. Wonder if that's what it might be?

Mojjax you always post some interesting stuff. Will the horn stand on a flat surface? The wood/fabric could be to protect other surface. Something missing from the chain that would fit into the holes carved in the horn? A display stand of sorts.

The fabric almost have a 'furniture kind of look', but appear too small for an arm rest :icon_scratch:

Could it have been a part of some sort of chandelier?

thats what i thought!

or maybe it was hung from the chain whilst in use!
