A knapper friend from MI makes real nice Ohio Flintridge dovetails. He set out to make a copy of a famous dovetail called the "Hook's Dovetail". I don't know the history of it but it's been known to collectors for a long time. My friend obtained a large slab of Flintridge and succeeded in making a copy. Larger, with better color.
