You did well, and hanging out with a bunch of Tnetters is always a plus. Everywhere I have been I have been able to hunt with different people from Tnet . Several life long friendships.

I would say any day that an LC or a SLQ comes out is a good day. Both on the same day makes it a gooooood day. With the friends in tow even better. Congrats.:icon_thumleft:

Sterling spoon draped bust barber and standing liberty. That's a great day in my book. Was there any other marks on that spoon? I thought I seen something else near the sterling mark

Hate to see what you call bad finds, I'm thinking your spoiled, looks like some great finds to me. Maybe I haven't set the bar high enough. I'm not busting your chops, just my observation. I'll have to look at your profile, probably find out you have found some really great finds. Thanks for sharing, and HH.

It wasn't a bust for sure as there's enough keepers there to make the Casper meter tilt towards the right any day.

That's not a bad day's work Casper. Definitely better than anything I've been digging lately.

awesome finds!

Complete spoon, and a couple Silvers, that's a good day for sure.

The site looks large, are the targets spread out all over the place ?

took 8+ hrs to get those - lot of walking - we covered a lot of ground

I checked my mail, email and phone messages but my invite must have gotten lost. I took this up witht he mail lady today and she doesn't think you invited me.

Just kidding, glad some on here met up and had a good time.

And you didn't invite me? Shame on you! :laughing7:

Seriously, nice finds, Casper! A standing Liberty and a Barber are on my bucket list.

Take care and keep up the great hunts! I'm jealous!

That's a really nice post and a great picture of the area you were working. I'd kill for some old finds like that. Out hunting with friends...can't be better.

Go Sox! Good finds and always nice to hook up with others in the forum. Check out my post of another return I had today! Super excited!

The site is over 2,300 acres of farmland. It's part of a complex of farmland that stretches 10's of thousands of acres along the Ct. River. At this location, targets are spread out all over, but there are certainly hot spots near old building sites and places of commerce. I logged almost 300 miles in these fields over the last year and have only scratched the surface.
