Probably not, as I don’t believe it was there for long as it came off fairly easily, however it was pointing toward the field :icon_scratch:. Truthfully though, I picked this spot for a particular reason. It’s family owned again but belonged to a longtime black family that worked for ours generations back! Story has it the Older gentleman was on the riverfront of a tended field and found 2 gold coins (possibly more). Said he kept them and no one knows where they went. :dontknow:
I know the riverfront well, but unfortunately it’s developed somewhat but the bank has not changed. The inside of the house is practically untouched also. Furniture and clothes still left. I’ll be back

I am not saying for sure but from all i have read. People hid things and a lot of them marked a spot or close to it for finding it again. I just thought they might want to check around that spot for a bit

Wonder why the propane Co didn't pick up their tank? Possibly owned not leased, or one of those 99 year leases like I have. $1.

Nothing spectacular on this difficult hunt but a cool step back in family land history. Lots of trash but did come across this old hood ornament, left stuck on the tree next to some odd carvings. What make did this belong to ?
Dunno! But anything with that shaped thing must have been fast in its day! 😁👍
