HOMESTEAD BUTTON ID HELP WANTED

By the end of the first days hunt with the MXT I have added several colonial buttons as well as some camp lead to my collection. Any info on the buttons will be welcome! Do any of them look to be military in origin? I am starting to think this may have been a camp site as more musket shot have turned up this spring. Any ideas are welcome?

First of all Scubado, welcome to the forum! Looks like you got yourself a pretty good haul of buttons there. My guess is that they would not be Military, but could possibly be secondary military. If the soldier lost a button and did not have a replacement, he would have to settle for a civilian button. I hope this helps. HH!
