Found six wheats in one hole the newest being 1919 two of the wheats were stuck together still revealing the preserved grass between them two of the six were 1914's heart was racing .....no D on them dug a button of brass with a mushroom and design on it any idea of age. A 1910 wheat in the same hole as a 1920 merc. Three indians scattered in the front of the house Ended the day with a silver ring with what looks to be a clown with a sparkler or something After looking at the button closer on the screen I believe it shows a parrot or bird perched on a limb with an umbrella over its head

Great finds there, congrats on the IH's and merc.

nice finds! that ring is sterling silver with"niello" inlay(the black stuff, its lead mixed with silver). The figure is a hindu god, if you look up niello jewelry online you will see most of it depicts these different gods. All the gods have different meanings. The jewelry is usually made in thailand and sometimes is marked siam sterling.Collectible antique niello sells pretty good on ebay! http://www.vintagejewelrylane.com/weekwords/nielloweekword.htm

Congrats on the great finds. Hope you have more time at that site. :icon_thumright:
