Home rubble, but how old?

Got out this AM to a Baltimore City park and dug what appears to be rubble from the demo of an old home. I'm not certain of the purpose of these pieces, but they are all cast brass. The elongated piece has iron in the hollowed out end. Detail is exquisite. Do you know what purpose these pieces served and what time-frame they were made?

Dunno either....but I do love the sound of brass. Cool stuff! Congrats!
 

Late 19th century due to the construction.
 

Cool stuff! It reminds me of some things I found detecting around Baltimore back in the late 1960's. Smokey's 19th century is a good bet.
