Home waiting for snow to melt. Nursing a bad tooth and going stir crazy. Grabbed a piece of soapstone I had laying around and started carving. Ended up with a little pocket ax. Heated and waxed and on the shelf. Not too pretty but passed my time today. Lots of inclusion and rust in it. Thought it looked pretty beat with it.

Thanks guys. Didnt take long. Pocketknife, diiferent grit sandpaper and some wax.

Weather is keeping me in here.... think we have reached a heat wave of 11 degrees today with a low of 2 for tonight. Spent the day sorting rocks and throwing logs in the fireplace.

High of 39 today and the wind was blowing hard. I bet it was around 10 with the wind today. I stayed out for 5 hours though
