Prior to 1909 there were eight different designs of this medallion. I'm just curious where that would put this one. In 1909 a standard design with a cross where this one has the clover was patented. I'm assuming this one is pre-1909, was just hoping someone had more info on the period of this one. I have only found pictures of the post-1909 design. Anyone?

Not for sure what you got.
but I found one somewhat like it about 6 inche deep at a park in Moline, Illinois....

Yes there are many different designs but I dont know the dates.
