Well, it's coming up on the holidays again already.
What are some of your favorite holiday eats and treats?
For Thanksgiving, I make edible turkeys with Nilla wafers, malted milk balls, chocolate stars, chocolate covered raisins and colored icing. Kids love them!

That's a great idea Mac. In fact the University of Georgia has confirmed that pecans contain plant sterols, which are known for their cholesterol-lowering ability. This is apart from their high levels of omega 6.

You're right McGearhead. Pecan Pie. Ain't nobody up here hardly knows what it is, much less know how to make one. Course, it's different cookin at this altitude. Somebody post a recipe cause I'll step up to the plate and make one. (Should have paid more attention when my mom and grandmas were in the kitchen.)

Yeap. That's my favorite. My wife makes the best one since my grandmother passed. :'(

But let's not forget about the buttermilk pie. My wife also makes the best one of those since my grandmother passed. :icon_sunny:

Anyone want the recipe for the buttermilk pie? PM me.
