I Understand the 1922

Great start to a nice collection!!

I read on this forum how some go to the bank and get rolled coins....so I did that and out of 8 rolls of pennies, I got 4 wheaties...one was a 1909 VDB!!! And it's in pretty good darn condition too! I was so excited. Now I need the 1909S VDB, that's the bucks!!! The oldest wheat I had was a 1917. Then I have a 1926, 1934, 1936 and from 1939 to 1958, one for every year (missing some mints, but will get those in time) ... so I am working on getting a complete set too, with all the mints for each year.

I was going to Check my Mints for this also, but I have biig holes in those.
I have more D's then S's but still alot missing there.

Congrats on the V.D.B. in the Roll , That's Cool.

Thanks!!

Yea, I have no prob with the D's, as you can see what I have in the D Mint: 1942, 1944, 1949, 1950 (have 2), 1951 (have 6), 1952 (have 4), 1953, 1954, 1955, 1956 (have 2), 1957 (have 5) and 1958 (have 4)

These are the only ones with the S mint are: 1940, 1941, 1946 (have 2)

Everything else is P mint.

Hey...watch for the 1982 Dime...some were missing the P Mint. Also the 1955 Penny and the 1995 Penny, some were double die. I'm keeping my eye out for these :)

Think for a while, I will just buy penny rolls....:). Got some dimes, nickels, quarters and half dollars....nothing :(

What's is this thing, VDB?

Cyn

On the Bottom Reverse of the 1909 Only.

Victor D. Brenner had his Initials.
in 1910 it was removed & placed under Lincolns Shoulder.

Not all 1909's have the V.D.B.

Here is the 1909 VDB I found in the 8 rolls of pennies I got from the bank. I enlarged the VDB ... hopefully you can see it :) Now, on to the hunt for the 1909S VDB.....
