Several months ago, I was whining about not having anything to take photographs of in Ohio. Then, tamrock posted a link that jolted my memory. It took me all this time to remember where I had these pics. They are from ten years ago, coincidentally, on our 25th anniversary.

Yeah, -11° with wind chill factor here. BTW, thanks for the link. :icon_thumright:

I changed my post, because those are from 10 year's ago. I thought they were recent? Bad habit of sometimes not reading the whole story.

It still fit. It was that cold back then.:laughing9:
Geesh I need to find warmer destinations!

Gonna be a high of 57 today and up to 62 tomorrow here east of the Rockies. It's probably going to feel like 100 after that trip I just finished last night in the Midwest. Going across Nebraska last night really stunk. There must have been 5 or more days of cow pies dropped in the subzero temperatures that all began to thaw last night with the above freezing temperatures along the long drive heading west. I'll bet every experienced I80 trucker would know where Brule, Nebraska is when you tell em it's that stretch in west Neb. that stinks to the highest heaven.

Breathtaking!!

You can't tell me there's not more natural beauty than that in Ohio! I've only been there once (Dayton, on business), but I have seen too much work from too many other photographers to believe there's nothing else out there!

Did you fly in or drive?

what's the name of the park as you cross into ohio from the west on 70?
I"ve been to that one

Flew in. Boy, were my arms tired! :tongue3: (I hate that joke! *lol*) This was back some time in the early 90's, I believe. Visited a little company called Ochs Industries. I was helping to open their Houston facility, but they didn't plan well and had to close their doors for a while. Apparently their future planning didn't get a lot better.

I grew up literally 5 minutes from the airport. Planes constantly flying over the house. We moved.
