Look's like a geode, take better, closer photos, during the day, outdoors, but NOT in direct sunlight.

KB.. A thunder egg is very simular to a geode.. but where as a geode is basiclly hollow and contains simi - well formed crystals (points) As for the Thunder egg, typically solid inside but may contain small pockets which also contain crystals.. Yet these crystals are more rounded (noduals)

I have, fer the most part, considered thundereggs to be just one of the few different types of geode which all fall into the category
of agate (including chalcedony), which falls into the many different varieties of quartz, and it all has the same geo-chemical formula of SiO2, and
all has the same specific gravity of 2.7 Just formed under different conditions.

Thanks guys, very much appreciated. I have another question. In your opinion would it be worth it to search the same area I found the other specimens? For larger specimens.
