No, base is clear. (Think the grey background/crappy pics making it look that way.) A vacor Mummy? Oh, what if it had had a green base?

No, not a vacor. I think it might be Champion. If it was green base, it could be a couple makers. Alley had one called a Mountain Dew that had a bold green transparent base, they are hard to find. I think champion made them with a coke bottle green base and clear.

Often times I go "hunting" on ebay after you mention HTF mibs like the Alley MDew. I think I got ONE hit (on the AAM forum)!! Does the Champion have a name or just "swirl"? Jeez, I keep thinking of more questions to ask you (sorry)! What is it about this mib that makes it NOT a Vacor? Also, there is a mib on the Mibbage forum that is a CAC Snotty that, to me, looks alot like this one. That said, I am assuming wrong size AND the one posted on Mibbage could possibly not be CAC snotty to begin with - as it doesn't look much like the others I see posted online.

The champion doesn't have a name that I know of. I also considered CAC and it might be one. They made a clear base yelow swirl marble too. The ribbon looks like it's mostly on the surface though with little down in the matrix, so I was thinking not CAC. I'd ask Craig over at AAM or MC since he's such a CAC guy.

I didn't answer what makes it not a vacor. I'm not an expert on vacors, (I wouldn't say I'm an expert on any marbles) but this has a wider striated ribbon that twists ans twirls smothly and vacors usually have narrowed ribbons that often zig zag and are not striated.
