Went with a friend to the schoolyard today. Found a lot of surface coins, and some deep coins too! I dug one penny at about 6 inches, recovered it,and never gave it a second look. Just tossed it into the coin pouch, and went on. After running them through the tumbler,I looked at them, and found out the one that was 6 inches deep turned out to be a Canadian penny. This is the third one I've found in this area, but it's a 1945! I like the look of them better than our penny's and they seem to do better,at staying in good shape being buried in the ground too!
