Hit my old park and got another seated dime, but also the tiniest "button" looking item I've ever found.

Took my new Legend out to the oldest and trashiest park for its maiden voyage.

I was able to pull an 1838 seated dime and this tiny item with what is similar to the Ohio state seal.
Not sure if it's actually a button because I can't tell if there's a shank mark on the back.
I haven't identified it yet, so if you have ideas feel free to chime in.

A simple reverse image search found old coins and tokens but not this specific item. Maybe search terms: vintage state of Ohio button/pin or token. I find myself going through some weird avenues trying to identify items like this but then that's the fun right? Interesting find!

Nice catch on the silver Seated.
If I had dug that little item I would of thought it was a face off a ring.

Congratulations on the silver coin and on the pin, badge, whatever! Thanks for posting.
