Went back to the park that Mike and I have been hitting... My first target was a shallow gold hit (in the middle of nowhere). Since there's virtually no trash around, I felt pretty good about the signal although I was wondering how the heck it got to such a remote area. No markings but I'm sure it's gold. Here's some pics:

Also hit this cool button. I thought it was modern at first since it was in such great condition. However, the backmark suggests it's pretty old (still have some research to do). It was pretty darn deep; one of those targets that started sounding better the closer I got to it.

My last target was something that looks like a buckle. It's only about 2" wide:

Cool finds, thats a very nice ring, congrats.

Ooooooooooo, that's a purty ring!

That ring really looks old, hence no stamp I suspect. It must look even more cool in real life. Great find. Congrats!

Take it to a jeweler. They will be able to tell you if it is real gold and if they are real rubys. Probably are if it is that old.

THAT IS A VERY NICE RING...probally worn so long that the mark has worn off, probally had 750 stamped on it,whitch is 18kt..just my thoughts but would love to find one as pretty as that.....jamey

Excellent Find. I'm sure you're going to be alot wealthier once you've gotten that Beauty checked out. Good Luck and HH.
