Hit another new permission site today! And eyeballed a 2 center waiting to be found!!

I have been wanting to hunt this farm for awhile now but was skeptical about asking permission, I was told by others that the family wouldn't let anyone onto their property! I pulled into the drive and the owner was doing yard work and I explained to her that I had a hobby of metal detecting old home sites. She said let me talk to my husband, when she came back out of the house she said go ahead with a smile and said hope you find something! My second target was the 1853 large cent, in just a few minutes I eyeballs the 2 cent coin

. Alot of redware and old glass everywhere. My 1872 plat shows 4 house sites and I only had time to hit one. Guess I'll be out looking for the other 3 tomorrow!!

The one I found yesterday was laying on top of the ground about a quarter of a mile from the site I recovered the 5 the other day
