Hit an old site today

I finally made it over to detect the dirt floor basement of the old 1850's house where my sorta adopted daughter is living. Took lights, extension cords, ladder, everything under the sun. I was prepared to DIG in the DIRT. Got the cover off the entrance & shined a light inside, A SOLID CONCRETE BASEMENT just about as clean as you have ever seen. Bad info!!!!! THere wasn't anything that even remotely looked interesting in there. Sigh!!! Oh Well!

Went outside to hunt around the old part of the foundation where old house had burnt. Tons of trash & a few pennies. Not even wheaties. Had to go to a meeting so I called it a day. At least I got out for an hour. I think I'll go back & work the yard pretty hard when I get another chance, however, it appears to have had fill dirt hauled in at some time. So much for High Hopes today! Spotz

Got a chance to hunt a 100 year old misers place complete with dirt crawl space and the whole thing. My Whites decided to die on me!!!

This was one of the buried loot story places. The old guy died and nobody could find his money. By the time I got another detector my opportunity was gone.
