Dug my 1,000 penny today, took it to 1004.
May have got my oldest cast car too.
A lamp wick adjuster, a bell, a John Deere and a hot wheels buggy made it a good day. Nothing to old, not even a wheetie, but I will take it. Thank you all. IMG_20190319_163737126.jpegIMG_20190319_164145740_HDR.jpegIMG_20190319_164355311.jpeg

Nice finds.... but I refuse to congratulate you on your 1000th penny find :laughing7:

Your toy 'earthmover' looks to date to the 1960s, now that's a nice find.

Cool, like the tractors, looks you have an old wick roller also but the "zincs" don't count they're not real pennies:laughing7:

The "Buggy" looks like a piece of earth moving equipment called a Pan, Congrats and best wishes.

You really kept count of the pennies you found?

yahoo $10 in pennies..... :occasion14: I only hunted for 8 month my 1st season and pulled about $23 in US cents. Man those copper pennies sound good when the detector swings over them. Still looking for my 1st VDB yet.

Technically, none of them are "pennies". In the U.S. we have cents. We all know what you mean though. The modern zinc cent is a real piece of junk. I find 2018 dates that are too far gone to spend......just pitiful.
