Pick up the book "A narrative of a revolutionary war soldier" Its basically the diary of Joseph Plumb Martin during the war years.He lived with his grandparent in Milford Connecticut and enlisted with the Connecticut state troops when he was 16.Even though he fought mostly in the New York area there are some hints of some actions in Connecticut I believe.You might be able to figure out the areas where skirmishes took place or camps.Hope this helps you out.
