Went out this morning, and spent an hour or so hunting a downtown area, where buidlings once stood in the 1880's. Theese areas have been hit alot in the past, and the ground conditions are very dry, figured id sift through the shallow targets that remain and see what i come up with.

Found 1 - 1964 penny - 1 inch deep - may have been dropped yesterday...

Found a 3.5 inch hinge at 3 inches - the pivot point is a single metal dowel - appears old

Oh yes and the tag - i found it last week at an old construction site in sonoma, appears to be an id tag of some sort - I first thought prisoner tag, yet there was no prison or jail in the area... any ideas - its 2.5 inches long by 1 inch wide.

Re: Hinge, 64 penny - so close

LOL. I thought you had found 64 pennies. That would be quite a streak with no other coins in between.

Still, good job. Glad you got out. Can't wait for rain to soften things up here.
