I'm in northern Nevada's gold country this morning. Had allot of miles to drive, but did manage to stop at a couple antique places. I found this sweet 925 napkin ring from David Andersen of Norway, as I'm good at logging most Scandinavian makers marks in my brain and recognized this mark in an instant. I gave 10 + tax for it. I think it's at least worth $75. Maybe more?. I don't have my scale, but I can feel in my hand it's maybe a little more then a troy oz. at least. I'll be researching these caricatures on it, as I wonder who they are.

Nice buy. Thanks for sharing...

Sounds like you got a good buy just for its scrap value alone.. and from what you say the potential profit goes up from there. Good find!

Let me know what you come up with on that design. Maybe some type of Scandinavian folklore? The Anderson name will help it out for sure. Nice find.
