Hi folks,
Am seeing the size of most hbs out there and wonder if there is a reason for the sluice part to be so short?
I see 50-75 or more gpm blasting out a 8" wide box that's 18 inches long and I wonder how much gold may be thrown?
Holy Cow, with 2 hbs, you could almost water ski on that output.
Just wounderin' .

Grey how's it going I know what your sayin about the short HB's and I have added a A52 sluice to the end of mine. To say the least I catch nore gold in the sluice than HB'er and I run mine at about 15 -20 gpm. hope this helps

Hi Freddy,
Thanks, that does help.
It seemed to me way too fast a flow and way too short a length of sluice.
Am working on turning my A52 clone into a highbanker.
Thinking of a grizzly and then a punchplate before material hits the slick plate and the sluice.
I need to get a new pump as the largest I have now is only 800gph.
But with folks saying 3000 gph minimum I had to wonder.
Also hard to choose between electric or gas pump.
Thank for advise.
