Here's my progress so far. Using the sluice I just completed and a very cool and unique boiler box I have yet to see done!
Bracing for sluice which will also serve as support for boiler box and legs.
Using 1/8" ABS mounted to 45* galvanized braces for stability and an easy 45* angle w/o abunch of math and finess cutting. The way I did this is VERY stable/stiff!
The boiler box will be made from 1/4" clear acrylic! Looks great and very strong! Plus side is I can see through it! :-) Also, I had the acrylic given to me as to why I'm using it.
Just need to do bottom and rear with acrylic, install spray bars to ABS, grating, pivoting mounts so box will fold down into sluice and install legs. In the mean time here's a sneak peak of the "gold room" as I like to call it. All concentrate processing and equipment building goes on in here. (excuse the mess!)
