They are $80-$85 a box at the gun shows and it has been that way for a while. Forget stocks, invest in ammo.

We reload most everything else we shoot but we can't reload 22's. Luckily I have a lifetime supply. :)

.22LR has been running 5¢ each to 10¢ each for a while now. People will buy the limit, currently 5 sleeves, and then try to sell at twice what they paid for it. Recently, I bought 1400 rounds for $65.95. That same ammo was being sold for $135.00 by a guy that bought some. I don't think that he ever sold it.

Checked the ammo site you mentioned, and some ammo down your
way is a bargain. But the .22LR is the same as here.
Going to Prescott area in December, will stop & check them out.
Thanks

Yeah, we can get 7.62 ammo at those prices quite often. The high priced stuff and hard to find is the 22. Thing is, with the 7.62 ammo, unless you buy the really high priced stuff, you can't reload the casings. Best bet is pay up front for brass and reload good stuff although Russian and Chinese SKS's fire that cheap stuff quite accurately.

Those prices are quite reasonable compared to here Nth Australia 22Mag rounds go $18 box of 50 , 32/20 rounds go $96.50 a 50 round box , dealers here are making a killing .. cheers Mick

People, it's the out of control buying craze that is controlling prices! I personally know dozen of people that are out of control and you probably do as well. Hell, people with large stashes of ammo, still buy, buy, buy. That's crazy people. Yes, you should have several hundreds of rounds on hand per weapon, but many thousands of rounds is ridiculous. If you had to fight your way through many thousands of rounds, you'd probably be dead long before you could. If your group shows that they have the ability to fight, the bad guys will just move on looking for easier targets and there will be many!!!!!

Except for those who truly need to put a few hundred round up, everyone should just stop buying for six months. Watch the prices fall after that!!!
