High Hopes

I had a day of door knocking yesterday and was able to secure 3 new spots. The most promising is only 3 acres but from what the landowner tells me no one has detected it yet. Her father was going to get a detector and never did. He recently passed away at 85. God rest his soul.
The 2nd place is a much larger farm within a 1/2 mile of a well known Union camp and a train station.
The 3rd spot I already checked yesterday and found nothing. There were 15000 Union troops camped near there and at 1 time it was considered Union head quarters , at least in the diary I read..
I'll be headed out the door to spot #1 shortly after some cream chip beef with the family with high hopes of new treasure. ; )

not videos.......a message board...which is pretty interesting....they soak totally brown cans in oxalic acid with some pretty good results....
