Hi. I'm New to the Forum....
Hi There. Thought I'd Introduce myself. I'm Just getting in to MDing... I just bought a Garrett Ace 250. I live In Southern California, about 20 minutes outside of Palm Springs.
After I bought My MD, I thought to myself....."Crap, I live in a relatively newly populated area"
..... So I did some research....
Turns out The area I live in has been settled as far back as the 1850's. So I went out today and did a little scouting. So Far I found and Abandoned Ranch, an Abandoned Gas station, and two Home Steads...Well, I think I did. I read That, A vacant Lot With an out of place tree probably had a house on it at one time or another. I was going to take pictures of the places I was going to hunt today.....But I forgot the Memory card for my digital camera, (like an idiot)..... But, I'm gonna hit em with my MD and take some pictures Sunday. I'll post again to let everyone know how it went....
From what I've read over the last few days, this seems to be a great Forum. I hope to get to know you guys a little better.
