My name is Allison and I'm 25 years old and have had a long held interest in finding treasure..my mum and dad used to pan for gold when i was little and i distinctly remember my dad showing me the gold nugget they had found that he kept in his ratty old wallet...I am currently researching what type of detector is best for under $200. I would love to find jewellery, but i'm also keen to find some more domestic items as I have found some great things in the past while renovating houses with my ma & pa.

i'm also loving reasearching using the trove website reading old newspaper stories and looking at old maps.

can't wait to look at everyones photos!
