New member here and just joined today so I guess I should let you all know a little about me. I'm in Dallas but definitely not a native Texan (hopefully you realized that by me writing "you all" in the last sentence instead of "y'all". I've been into treasure hunting for most of my life, although usually not serious. Mostly just seeing what I could find at a garage sale or some sort of trade show. That is at least until about 8 years ago when I discovered Storage Auctions.
I've always been into resale though, ever since I was a freshman in high school and buying crybaby sour balls at the gas station for 5 cents a piece in the morning and then selling them throughout the day for a quarter a piece at school. I do keep some treasures I find, heck, just about every room in my house has at least a couple if not several things that came from a storage auction. I actually did it full-time for a few years too.
Now, I'm a Software Developer by day, but still regularly win auctions whenever I can (and have the space for!). I'm even mixing the 2 and working on developing a way to make reselling everything a lot easier.
Hoping this forum will help me whenever I come across some mysterious treasure and hopefully I'll be able to help out as well. I've seen a LOT, but I definitely haven't seen it all, not by a mile.
