Just a quick I'm totally new to Treasure Hunting- intro'd to me by my boyf. Kermit, who's gracious enough to take me along with him. I can't wait to get out and find- anything really haha! I've seen a ton of your photos and read through your finds. I just hope I'm as lucky. I'm sure it'll be fun and I look forward to meeting new folks.

I am sure that you'll have some good finds based upon what I see Kermit finding. I am fairly new too; give it some time, have fun, and I am sure that you'll have some good finds and good times.

Wow! Thank you ALL for the welcome and kind words. I just posted briefly about my first hunt. To sum that up, I found a couple quarters/pennies and a dime, but all modern. I want s'more. (smores are good too, yum) I'm still getting the hang of the signals. I didn't mind the rain the the mosquitoes stopped bugging me halfway through. (although I'm still itchin') What was a little frustrating was constantly finding stuff only to learn that they were "ordinary" - talk about false hope! Yet, all of it only made me want to go again.

Hope to meet/see most of you out there soon.
