Hello all,
My name is steve, l live in north east tennessee, greene county. I have a creek that runs flat for about 150 yards through my property. We have had a lot off rain the last few years, which has caused bank collapse and bank under cut. I was wondering if it might be worth it to look for gold there and if so the best way to go about extracting it. I have a fisherr f22 detector, maybe l should buy a Sluice Box?
Thanks for any help.

welcome from central Va gold country. get you a gold panning kit off amazon or walmart , look at a few utubes on panning and get to it. I doubt if anyone here could tell you if there's gold in your creek.

Welcome to the forum from Oregon. Good luck!

Welcome aboard! At a minimum you need a gold pan to test various places in the stream bed for evidence of gold. Their are many companies that sell gold prospecting equipment such as Keene for one. The GPAA is a good group for a beginner. You could search on the internet for gold in the Nolichucky river which may be close to you. Good luck!
