Hi there and welcome to the site! First off, all metal is worth money but there are certain ones worth more. The best ones off hand tend to be copper, aluminum, soda cans, brass and scrap wire. There are different types of copper #1 ands #2 but #2 is most common. Stainless steel is paying good now as well. Best advice is if you find something and have a question about it, post in this section and trust me, we will answer. There are a lot of people in this section that will help out if asked. Call your local yard and ask for some prices on the above to give you an idea what to scrap. Good luck and post your hauls!
