So it's been a long time since I have been out, but since football is over I've been finding time and today I decided to go out in the yard and keep myself busy. I found a lot of foil, and the usual junk but I found a lot more than that too! First hole I dug was a 1943 P nickel, and about 2 inches beside it was a pocket knife! After getting excited and going on another half an hour I dug a 1954 Austrian 2 groschen( any info on it?) a chunk of something, it might just be a chunk of metal but idk. And lastly the last 2 things, the first was an oval thing kind of looked like something to hold a picture maybe?( again, any info?) And very lastly as I was walking up to the house I found a 1941 mercury dime right beside the sidewalk! If you have any info on the 2 items that would be great! Thanks and happy hunting😄😁

Congrats on getting out again! Nice coins! The oval with lines looks like it may have had a glass domed top making it look like a jewel and attached to a ring, but I'm guessing. The other piece I don't have a clue.

Beautiful Merc - CONGRATS! I dug my only Merc in a small junked-up park with hard dirt. Junk was all I dug while listening to my son nearby enjoying digging his multi-coin spill, lol. I was getting grouchy when boom! Out slid a blackened Merc! Thrilled me as much as if it had been gold, lol. Andi
