Went to the bank after work to dump some coin. When she opened the machine to empty a bag i noticed the halves bag was empty. I ask if she still had it and she said its in the back if i want it. When i get to the car i see a lone 40%er so i know im not skunked. When i get home i got a call from my a teller to come down b/c someone dumped siver. Bag would have to wait.
23.00 pick up netted me
11-40%ers
1- 1964

So already im stoked. I get home and start on the bag. I foriegn, a few 40's. Kinda boring bag. All of the sudden i see a slug that i know is a "foriegn coin" in my hand. When i get to it i almost passed out when i saw the worn eagle on the back. My exact words where " NO F&&$ing way" After a yr off CRH i had my first BARBER HALF. The rim was so worn i thought it had to be a foriegn coin. Virtuayl no ridge. Rest of the bag

8- 40%ers
1- 1964 Kennedy
1- 1906-d BARBER HAlF

i'm flattered you remember.. ..it was $160.00...i still get a thrill just thinking about it...i'm still trying to figure out how i could ever top that but i'm sure it will have to be with walkers and barbers
