Hey everyone, I was metal detecting and found something I hope is interesting, now I think it might just be a bit of new junk and not old but a part of me thinks it might not be, the gilt seems kinda plastic but that’s normal enough, and it’s a rose gold colour but the inside metal I don’t know what it is if anyone could help it would be great, thank you

Looks like pot metal...maybe part of an old cap gun. Those things broke up into bits like that.
