Those Hessians were first into some of the nastiest battles. Crazy stuff.

Why would there be reason to disturb their remains? We already know quite a bit about that period of time?

Because they were found in a mass grave. Scientists hope to use DNA to identify as many as they can. The remains will be re interred with some sense of dignity and respect.
