Same here. I've found a few, but either small, crooked, or crude. Even a half decent example has eluded me for decades now. Not only is this one a beauty, it has good size for that type, too. I be all green here!

Or leave it in your cigarette pack. I knew a guy that found the nicest Hernando that I've ever seen from my area. So thin that I hated even handling it and the color was cream and light green. That and a nice Santa Fe. He slipped them into his pack of smokes and left it on the dash of his truck. Later, so they could make a little money, he lets his kids clean out and wash his truck. By the time he realized what had happened a day or two later, the garbage truck had already made its rounds. What a sick feeling that had to have been.

What a shame! Makes me sick thinking about it and it wasn’t even mine. Sort of like reuellis’s post about old timers skipping arrowheads and scrapers across the Kanawha River! That still haunts me!

This point is coral! I'll say 2-15/16". It is a good one. Still don't have a good pic! Will continue working on that. Definitely not a common point to locate but I have had some luck with them in the past 30 yrs.
