Herkimer Diamond 3D Anaglyphs

Anaglyphs have been a hobby of mine for awhile. One evening, I decided to try some macro anaglyphs. These are a few of the finished anaglyphs.
In order to see these in 3D you need a pair of red/blue glasses, yepper, the ones from the cereal box will work. Red lens goes over the left eye.

Very nice, I have one I traded for, from that
area, my Daughter is visiting in NY, & I put in my
request for Herkimer's, before she comes home. :D

I now a place where there are some enhydros..Is that not the stone that has a very tiny amount of water trapped inside for a few million years??? BEAUTIFUL stone BTW....IS that the natural shape?

Yes, an internal pocket of water is known as an "enhydro. Some say herkimers are about 500 million years old. What you see is exactly how they come out of the rock.

Well I know two spots where they are found. Time to break out the rock hammer and maybe get a couple of them. They are absolutely gorgeous! I will be checking the extremely clear crystals I have found in that area for sure!!!
