I found this today in the middle of the woods. the pointed tip is solid steel and extends inside the shaft. its about 15" long

W66, It is a peavy for rolling logs and it is missing the hook and handle.

wow...I was a logger operating equipment for 15 yrs and I didnt see it. Thanks a bunch. Must have been from the early 1900's when the climax forest of pine here were logged off
